Wallarah Longboard Club offers a range of membership options to suit surfers, families, and supporters of our club community. Whether you’re competing, learning, or simply want to be involved, there’s a membership option for you.

How to become a Rusty:.

This year we’ve teamed up with Surfing NSW and LiveHeats to manage registrations and payments this year, making the process simple and streamlined for all members.

By registering through the link below, you’ll complete both your Wallarah Longboard Club membership and your Surfing Australia (via Surfing NSW) registration in one easy step — ensuring you’re fully covered for the season.

Surfing Australia Membership Requirement

All competing members must be registered with Surfing Australia.

• Insurance – Personal accident cover for competitions
• Event Access – Entry into sanctioned State, National, and Regional events with official rankings
• Support – Helps protect surf breaks and supports the sport at a state level
• Partner Discounts – Savings with surf retailers, schools, accommodation, and surf-related brands (e.g. wetsuits and accessories)
• E-News – Weekly updates and surf news

Cost

The Surfing Australia membership fee is a flat $29.
To make joining easy, this fee is collected as part of your Wallarah Longboard Club registration via LiveHeats and forwarded directly to Surfing Australia on your behalf.

Annual Club Fees:

Full Member
For surfers who wish to actively participate in club activities and competitions.
Full Members are eligible to:

• Compete in club competitions

• Attend club days and events

• Be part of the Wallarah Longboard Club community for the season

Cost: $50 registration fee

Junior Member
Designed for younger surfers looking to get involved in the club in a fun, supportive environment.
Junior Members can:

• Participate in club days in age-appropriate divisions

• Build confidence, skills, and ocean awareness alongside their peers
Cost: $25 registration fee

Family Membership
A great option for families with multiple surfers.
Family Membership allows:

• Multiple immediate family members to be registered under one membership

• Participation across club days and competitions (where applicable)

• A more affordable way for families to be involved together
Cost: $80 registration fee

Social Member
For those who want to support the club without competing.
Social Members:

• Are welcome at club days and social events

• Stay connected with the club community

• Support the growth of longboarding at Wallarah

Cost: $20 registration fee Note: Surfing Aus. Fees are not applicable to non-surfers

Club Days & Competition Participation

Monthly club days are open to everyone, including friends, family and non-members who want to come along, meet the club, and enjoy a surf, drink and BBQ with our longboard crew.

Cost: $10 per person, per competition to help cover event running costs.

Important Notes

For safety, all participants must complete the required registration and forms prior to participation.

Costs listed are club fees only and do not include personal expenses such as gear or travel.

Memberships are valid for the current season.
